Pressroom.ph recognizes that privacy is important. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered in this website.
Media, analysts and other individuals/groups may avail of all the PRessroom.ph services provided they register for an account and provide the required information to us. In order to provide our full range of services, we may collect the following types of information:
* Information you provide – When you sign up for a PRessroom.ph account, we ask you for personal information (such as your name, email address and an account password).
* Cookies – When you visit PRessroom.ph, we send one or more cookies to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service by storing user preferences and tracking user trends, such as the type of articles you frequently download. We also use cookies in our marketing services to help client subscribers manage their public relations programs.
* Log information – When you access PRessroom services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
* Other sites – This Privacy Policy applies to PRessroom services only. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as search results or links from within our various services. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.
PRessroom only processes personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We will also these information to provide services to client subscribers which will use them for their public relations and marketing efforts.
You can decline to submit personal information to any of our services, in which case PRessroom may not be able to provide those services to you.
INFORMATION SHARING
PRessroom only shares personal information with our subscriber companies whose names are listed in the PRessroom directory.
We provide such information to our client subscribers for the purpose of helping them manage their public relations programs. We require that these parties agree to process such information in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
We may share with third parties certain information, such as the number of users who searched for a particular article, for example, or how many users downloaded a particular photo. Such information does not identify you individually.
INFORMATION SECURITY
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice.

Terms and Condition of Use
1. Description of Service. Pressroom.ph is a one-stop-shop for press-quality content available online (the "Service"). PRessroom reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time without notice for any reason.
2. Proper Use. You agree that you are responsible for your own communications and for any consequences thereof. Your use of the Service is subject to your acceptance of and compliance with the Agreement. You agree that you will use the Service in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules and regulations, including any laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from your country of residence. You shall not, shall not agree to, and shall not authorize or encourage any third party to: (i) use the Service to upload, transmit or otherwise distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, obscene, contains viruses, or is otherwise objectionable as reasonably determined by PRessroom; (ii) upload, transmit or otherwise distribute content that infringes upon another party's intellectual property rights or other proprietary, contractual or fiduciary rights or obligations; (iii) prevent others from using the Service; (iv) use the Service for any fraudulent or inappropriate purpose; or (v) act in any way that violates the Program Policies, as may be revised from time to time. Violation of any of the foregoing may result in immediate termination of this Agreement, and may subject you to state penalties and other legal consequences. PRessroom reserves the right, but shall have no obligation, to investigate your use of the Service in order to determine whether a violation of the Agreement has occurred or to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.
3. Content of the Service. PRessroom takes no responsibility for third-party content (including, without limitation, any viruses or other disabling features), nor does PRessroom have any obligation to monitor such third-party content. PRessroom reserves the right at all times to remove or refuse to distribute any content on the Service, such as content which violates the terms of this Agreement. PRessroom also reserves the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information as it reasonably believes is necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (b) enforce this Agreement, including investigation of potential violations hereof, (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues (including, without limitation, the filtering of spam), (d) respond to user support requests, or (e) protect the rights, property or safety of PRessroom, its users and the public.
4. Intellectual Property Rights. You acknowledge that PRessroom owns all right, title and interest in and to the Service, including without limitation all intellectual property rights and such rights are protected by Philippine and international intellectual property laws. These rights do not include third-party content used as part of the Service, including the content of communications appearing on the Service.
PRessroom does not claim any ownership in any of the content, including any text, data, information, images, photographs, sound, or other material, that client subscribers transmit or store for uploading in the site. We will not use any of the content for any purpose except to provide the Service.
FOR CLIENT SUBSCRIBERS
PRessroom.ph will only upload press information for its client subscribers. Prospective subscribers need to complete a subscription form and sign the conditions of service agreement. A verification process is then conducted by PRessroom.ph to check the prospective subscriber’s information.
Prospective subscribers may not issue any press information through PRessroom.ph until the process is completed, at least until the next business day. The verification process includes: confirming the contact information provided; calling the organization to ensure the person requesting the subscription indeed represents the organization; viewing the company/organization’s website; and reviewing the press information for any red flags.
EDITORIAL POLICIES
As part of PRessroom.ph’s effort to disseminate press-quality content that is free of errors or credibility problems, we follow the editorial guidelines below:
SOURCE OF VERIFICATION
Upon receipt of any press information, a staffer of PRessroom.ph calls the Media Contact Person of the company/organization issuing the press information. The Media Contact must verify the press information. Press information will not be issued until this verification process is completed.
If the client represents a public relations or investor relations agency, it must provide PRessroom.ph with the name of its client who is the source of the information. The agency representative must be known to PRessroom.ph and is authorized to send the press information in behalf of its client/s.
If the press information is received from an individual who has not been identified as the authorized Media Contact, PRessroom.ph contacts an authorized sender to verify the legitimacy of the individual.
REVIEW PROCESS
PRessroom.ph’s editorial operations require a thorough review of the press material in an attempt to:
• Identify any errors, discrepancies, inconsistencies or other irregularities in the material as it was delivered to PRessroom.ph. No substantive change will be made without the approval of the client subscriber. If the client subscriber refuses to correct a clear error, the press information will not be uploaded. PRessroom.ph will not knowingly transmit an error. If the change is only a suggestion or opinion, the client subscriber’s wishes prevail.
• Format the press material in such a manner that it will be received, stored, and be accessed electronically.
Accountability
• Clients subscribing to PRessroom.ph are solely responsible for the facts and accuracy of all information they submit to PRessroom.ph. Client subscribers must also ensure that all press material they turn-over to PRessroom.ph, particularly photographs and video clips, are not copyrighted and are royalty-free. The only responsibility of PRessroom.ph shall be to use reasonable efforts to correct any error of fact, timing or omission brought to its attention. PRessroom.ph reserves the right to exercise its editorial judgment and reject copy from clients when necessary.
• All press materials uploaded on PRessroom.ph can be published, reproduced, electronically redistributed, stored in a database, or quoted or cited with the consent of PRessroom.ph client subscribers.
